Question Broken Forums??

Hey, I'm new on here but I had a question. Your forum counter seems to be broken as it says you have 851 people on. When I add up the number of people viewing threads, it only comes up to 351.
I really don't think that there are about 500 people just looking at the index since other fansites sure seem more accurate with their user counts. I was wondering, why isn't the counter accurate?

The rest of our site is tied to the forums, so when people are browsing other pages on our site, they are counted here as being online - so the counters are accurate, it is just looking at GWG in a broader scope.

Oh! Now, that just feels so misleading. Other sites don't really do that, at least not as far as I have seen.

Well using the comment system (available right now on our skills pages), adding a guild, etc, is all tied to your single forum login.

Just curious as to how this became so important to someone? Do they go around to other GW based sites and spend time counting all the users on each one? I would imagine GW sites are made to do more than sit and count your fingers and toes and making sure all is just as it seems... am I wrong?

Enjoy the site please but make better use of your time. Counting just seems too boring!

All math in general is boring...

Counting is a waste of time
